So I made the decision to drop that one awful psych course. Now I just have 3 classes and 3 tutorials which has made my week so much easier. Now I simply have 3 classes on Monday, 2 on Tuesday, none of Wednesday, 4 on Thursday and 1 on Friday. So my schedule, although still pretty packed, is a lot better to deal with AND I don't have to deal with that mean psych professor.
Yesterday I had my first religion tutorial and realized that I was way over prepared for the class than anyone else. I was fortunate enough to have a philosophy background and had a lot of input on the reading which makes me think this class is going to be a breeze. Although this class also has the most work load. I already have an essay due for it on Friday.
Then I had my social psych course which was interesting but extremely difficult to stay awake during because the professor just drones on and on and never asks the class for any feedback. So we sit there and I get all these ideas and questions but he just keeps going and never stops for the students to speak. I guess that makes sense because we talk more during tutorials and labs but it's frustrating because part of staying alert and interested in a class is being active and participating (at least that's what I think).
Later in the day Chris and Stephen got a license for busking, which is playing music for money on the streets. Busking is actually really popular for the college students here, it's a quick way to make a few bucks and you can practice your music and have fun doing it. Morgan and I decided to be their number one fan group and came and listened to them play. They didn't play for very long because it got cold and we got hungry, but they made about 10 dollars (which is technically only 5 US dollars).
After that we went out for india food for Stephens birthday and then Chris and I did homework together again at Stafford before going to Stephens for a bit of vegan birthday cake.
